Cold running water removes as many bacteria as hot water and washing with plain soap remains one of the most important steps consumers can take to avoid getting sick and to prevent spreading germs to others. This according to the latest research done by scientists at Rutgers University in New Jersey and published in the Journal of Food Protection magazine (30 May 2017).
So all these antibacterial washes with all those chemical compounds like triclocarbon and triclosan, was all for nothing. Worse, recent studies have linked triclosan to a series of disruptions in human and animal health and some data suggests that antibacterial ingredients may do more harm than good over the long term. Also, after these chemicals are used, they go down the drain to wastewater companies but survive the degradation steps and potentially reaches fluvial ecosystems which causes an environmental risk.
RINGANA FRESH soap is hand-made with natural plant extracts and nourishing oils like almond oil, nigella oil, coconut oil, borage oil and olive oil, and can be used from top to toe. The soap has an organic quality certification by LACON.
Last but not least, the research, mentioned above, also showed that even if you wash your hands for only ten seconds, significant amounts of bacteria are removed from your hands.
Caring about Sustainability is not a trend, but a way to make our world great again.
