Calories….. things many of us want to get rid of.
The amount of energy you need, depends on: your age, your lifestyle, your height and weight, but also hormones and medicines you take.
To lose weight in a healthy way, you have to use more energy than you consume by eating a healthy, balanced diet with fewer calories, while increasing your physical activity.
We used the beginning of the lockdown as a start to lose some weight, and we skip one meal per day, by having a 200 calorie plant-based meal replacement, which provides our body with all the essential micro- and macro nutrients. As physical activity, we walk about 60 minutes a day and we do online yoga classes almost every day.
